Of Mice and Men: A Novel by John Steinbeck

In the fresh of mice and work force,Steinbeck never gives Curleys wife a name. This is gaine to order that she does not fork out any individualism or business office on the ranch. As Curleys married woman is a original of all wowork force in the mid-thirties I obtain Steinbeck become use ofs her to record that she does not start out any identity or send on the ranch. As Curleys wife is a federal agency of all wo manpower in the 1930s I spirit Steinbeck uses her to play that most wo manpower adventure then had no identity or position in the working world. No characters in the novella c argon for Curleys wife and very picayune heed is given to her. just many of the men only see her as an purpose. I come back Steinbeck conveys that subject by his explanation of her. When we and George and Lennie are counterbalance introduced to her, Steinbeck takes a commodious time to cast her. She had full make up lips and wide-spaced eyes, heavily make up. Her fin ger nails were red. Her hairs-breadth hung in little clusters, like sausages This I feel Steinbeck uses to save Curleys married woman as an object to the men and society. It is to portray that Curleys wife is worth as much as she is wearing. But Steinbeck doesnt only use the description of what she is wearing, he alike amply defines her actions. This is to show the tangible awareness the men down towards her. She yield her hands tin can her back and leaned against the threshold frame so that her body was propel forward Steinbecks description of Curleys wifes actions, I return, is to not only describe the mens physical awareness, provided to show the hopelessness of Curleys Wife and the women in the 1930s.Steinbeck presents the mens reactions towards her as hostile with the use of language. When George scratch line meets her he responds to her bluffly. I animadvert this is to show the indisposition men flip towards Curleys Wife. I feel Steinbeck not only does th is to make us feel munificence towards Curleys Wife and women in the 1930s, but to a fault towards men in the 1930s as they have to be extremely wide-awake and hostile so they can hold back their jobs. This I think is the contrast Steinbeck is onerous to make towards Lennies reaction. As Lennie does not understand public social deportment he is in awe of Curleys Wife. I think Steinbeck does this to show that cardinal people who dont snuff it into society are maybe the ones that do. bottom Steinbeck uses different methods to present Curleys Wife and women in the 1930s. I fell Steinbeck uses Curleys Wife as a mental representation of injustice in the 1930s. Steinbeck presents the character of Curleys Wife as manipulative until now I feel he only does this to make us feel agreement to Curleys Wife and women in the 1930s.The circumstance that Curleys wife has to be manipulative to get economic aid which she is so rapacious for does not extinguish any sympathy that the read er could have for her but drives it so that the reader is more sympathetic. I also feel that Steinbeck uses Curleys wife as a reflection on men in the 1930s as they are manipulative only despise Curleys wife because she is manipulative they do not realise that it is them that make her so in the first place. I feel that Of Mice and men is a stainless representation of the word of human beings in the 1920s.
